We are also a full-service cabling vendor, offering Cat5, Cat6, coax, and fiber solutions for business of all sizes. We also specialize in Wi-Fi connectivity and many forms of other Internet and network connectivity.

CNS started out as Computers N’ Stuff, owned and managed by our current managing partner Aaron Gustafson, in 2010. Back then things were a lot different, Aaron started the company with one goal in mind, which is still our company’s current philosophy; “To provide quality IT to all”, or as many know our common slogan “No job too small”.

One day in 2008, as Aaron was just graduating High School, one of his family members contacted a local IT company for support on their Mailbug machine. That company promptly responded, showed up, and quickly determined the device simply needed to be power cycled, and promptly charged his family member 75$ for this 5 minute service. Determined to make sure no one was ever charged outrageous fees for such small services ever again, Aaron set out to become his social circle’s go-to person for all things IT.

One thing led to another and by 2011, Aaron left his job as IT Support Specialist at Carter Bloodcare and went full time as Owner/Operator of Computers N’ Stuff, and began with his first nationwide customer, Family Christian Stores LLC.

By 2013, Aaron had expanded to doing basic Surveillance system installs and in 2016 Computers N’ Stuff expanded to 10 staff across four cities, Dallas, Waco, Temple and Austin.

During this time, Computers N’ Stuff of Waco handled Managed Service Provider tickets for customers like Texas Roadhouse, Taco Casa, Taco Bell, Taco Cabana, Chik-Fil-A, Burger King, Massage Envy, Walgreens, CVS, American Cancer Society, Courtyard, Marriot, Hilton, Logan’s Roadhouse, Subway, Love’s Truckstop, Autozone, O’reilley’s, Walmart, GNC, Jason’s Deli, Applebee’s, Allstate, McLennan Community College, Starbucks, The UPS Store, Michael’s, Old Navy, Dollar General and many more! We handled everything from network to phone and spent this time honing our skills to provide the best possible support to our direct customers.

In 2019, Aaron filed for a Texas Private Security Bureau Security Company license and began offering in-house Alarm and Surveillance Solutions to customers all over, all with the same mottos in mind, “No Job too Small”, and “Quality work, at affordable prices”.

Now, over 10 years after its doors opened, Computers N’ Stuff is more widely known as CNS of Waco, and has customers all over Texas and the United States. From small and medium sized businesses, to data centers across the country. Currently with a humble staff of four, CNS Waco aims to provide customers with quality service at affordable prices.

Aaron Gustafson – Managing Partner

Aaron is our founder and managing partner. With over 10 years experience in IT he’s one of the first people most customers will interact with. While in college for Cisco network administration, Aaron worked as the only tech at the Carter BloodCare data center in Woodway. After graduation Aaron started contracting with family Christian stores and started the company that is now CNS Waco, traveling all over the country to deploy new FCS stores and developing logistics and construction skills along the way. Aaron is CCNA, MTCNA, and MTCRE certified, as well as attending the clearly IP training course for FreePBX phone systems. He also maintains the company’s 3D printer. He resides in Hewitt and has 3 dogs and 1 cat. And spends the weekend kayaking, biking, or playing with the company drone.

Roland Anderson – Lead FST II

Roland is our lead field service technician and handles the “stuff” side of CNS. He came to us from Dell EMC and has a background in electrical and infrastructure engineering. Roland is originally from Springville, UT but has lived here in Waco for the last six years with his wife and their seven (!) dogs, three cats, turtle, and bird. When he’s not chasing animals down the street or fixing things for CNS, he likes to spend time working on cars, playing the recorder, or on his three hundred other side projects.
